VIDALES TO RACE IN JAPANESE SUPER FORMULA LIGHTS WITH TEAM BMAX

Feb 28, 2023

Monaco Increase Management and their driver David Vidales have finalized an agreement with B-MAX racing team for the 2023 Japanese Super Formula Lights season. After testing extensively with the Kanagawa-based team in the past months, the 20-years old from León, Spain, will have the chance to compete in one of the most challenging and rewarding series in the world of motor-racing, and to do so with one of the best qualified Asian teams.

“I feel this deal represents a great opportunity for me and a big step forward in my racing career. Also, I’m particularly happy to be joining BMAX as I’ve had a good feeling with them since we started working together in testing and I appreciate the Japanese culture in motorsports. This is an important stage for me and I’m sure it will help me grow as a driver towards my ultimate goal: racing in Formula One. I really wish to thank Salvatore Gandolfo and Monaco Increase Management for making this all possible, all my sponsors and of course BMAX for giving me this huge opportunity”.

The first round of the series is scheduled for May 19-21 in Autopolis, but Vidales has already flown to Japan where he will participate in a collective testing session on March, 7 at Suzuka Circuit.
