Monaco, August 22 – Another brilliant drive from MIM’s driver Alex Palou yielded no results as the Spaniard was caught up in three-car accident on lap 65 of the Bommarito Automotive Group 500. Palou had started the oval race from P21 on the grid, having to serve yet another nine-place penalty following an unautorized engine change. Still, as the green flag came out he managed to move up seven positions, and gained another three after a caution period, so he was already P11 when the accident happened. This marked Palou’s second DNF in as many races and, a result, he lost the lead of the series classification, but is still running second with only 10 points to be recovered on new leader Pato O’Ward and Alex is totally determined to fight to the end with three more races to go.
