MIM-contracted Pascal Wehrlein returns to FIA Formula E action this weekend as the championship heads to Sanya, China, for Round 11 of the 2025/26 season.
The German driver and the Porsche factory team will take on the Sanya E-Prix as Formula E returns to the Chinese coastal city for the first time since 2019 and for its debut in the GEN3 era. The event also marks the start of the championship’s Asian triple-header as the battle for the title enters a crucial phase.
Set alongside the South China Sea on Hainan Island, the Sanya International Street Circuit combines long straights with a series of technical corners, creating multiple overtaking opportunities and placing a premium on race management and efficiency.
Following a challenging weekend in Monaco, Wehrlein will be looking to return to the points and strengthen his position in the Drivers’ Championship as the season enters its second half.
