2024 ABB FIA Formula E Champion Pascal Wehrlein has been confirmed in the successful TAG Heuer Porsche factory Formula E outfit for a fifth successive season.

The Monaco Increase Management contracted driver won the tenth edition of the all-electric championship this year after a sensational finale in London at the end of July, in which he masterfully saw off the attacks of his Jaguar rivals, Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy.

The 29-year-old German-Mauritian, who made his debut in the globe-trotting series in 2018, will now line up on the grid as World Champion to defend his title in the opening round of Season 11 with the all-new Gen3 EVO cars on 7 December in São Paulo (Brazil).

Monaco Increase CEO and Pascal Wehrlein’s manager Salvatore Gandolfo declared: “Pascal goes into Season 11 as Formula E World Champion, an outstanding result that also rewards Porsche because after five years of hard work they have now reached this prestigious objective together. For the first time in its history, Porsche also won the FIA world title with Pascal, so the pleasure is twofold. As a result, it was not difficult to renew this important deal for the coming year. Monaco Increase would like to thank Porsche for the trust it has placed in us, it gives us great satisfaction to be able to continue with the German manufacturer and try to achieve further goals together.”
