After a promising testing session in Japan, Monaco Increase Management’s newly acquired driver Lirim Zendeli will now go West to join the American USF PRO 2000 series (also known as IndyPro) for the 2023 racing season with TJ Motorsport. Thus, MIM pursues its policy of ‘thinking out of the box’ when designing their drivers’ professional trajectory.
The USF 2000 championship provides a very good visibility for drivers from all over the world, besides being a privileged gateway to the upper categories of American single seater racing-the Indy NXT series and the Indycar proper.
Lirim had first met MIM’s founder and CEO Salvatore Gandolfo in 2018, when the young German-born Albanian won the prestigious ADAC F4 championship. The signing of Zendeli opens up a number of opportunities as the US has a big community of Albanian ancestry.
With experience in F3, F2, DTM and the Toyota Racing Series all in Europe, Zendeli enters 2023 with a focus and determination to succeed but also with a wealth of knowledge and experience. “I want to win, and I am confident that I can do that with TJ Speed in America and the support of Monaco Increase on the European side,” explained the now 23-year-old.
Zendeli will be on track later this month to embark on a test program that will lead to the USF Pro Championships Spring Training and ultimately, the first race of the 2023 season, scheduled for March 3-5 at the Grand Prix of St.Petersburg in Florida.
