Monaco Increase Management’s newly acquired driver Lirim Zendeli had his first taste of the USF Pro 2000 car he will drive this year with TJ Speed Motorsports as the team’s three cars were fielded in a private test at Phoenix. Zendeli shared the track with his new team-mates Francesco Pizzi and Christian Weir. Despite this being his first real outing with the Tatuus IP-22 chassis to be used in the series, Zendeli showed a more than encouraging pace from the beginning and ended up the session with a best lap time of1min23sec41, being only three hundredths of a second apart from Pizzi who had previous testing experiences with the car, while Weir came in third at 1min23sec95. “Lirim did a good job and it was very close between all our drivers”, TJ’s owner Tim Neff commented at the end of the test. As soon as he climbed out of his car, Zendeli was busy packing to fly to Albania for an important event in the capital city of Tirana, where he’ll meet representatives of MIM.
