MIM-contracted driver Pascal Wehrlein secured a hard-fought third place in Round 6 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, held at the Circuito de Madrid Jarama.

In front of packed grandstands and an electric home crowd, the race delivered a thrilling finish, with the top four drivers crossing the line within less than a second. Wehrlein remained competitive throughout, navigating an intense battle that included contact early in the race and constant position changes among the front runners.

The German driver showed strong pace and consistency, keeping himself firmly in contention and ultimately securing a valuable podium finish behind Antonio Felix da Costa and Mitch Evans.

This result allows Wehrlein to maintain his position at the top of the Drivers’ Championship standings, reinforcing his title defence for the 2024 crown.

“We’re happy to be back on the podium after such a demanding race,” said MIM CEO Salvatore Gandolfo. “Pascal showed great determination and race management in very challenging conditions.”

The championship now moves to Berlin for Rounds 7 and 8, where Wehrlein will look to build on this positive momentum.
