Just a few days ahead of the first round of the USF2000 series, Monaco Increase Management driver Lirim Zendeli gave his Albanian fans a reason to smile as he topped the lap time chart in the final official testing session at Sebring.

23-years old Zendeli, who recently signed for TJ Speed Motorsports, was fastest at the end of a 17-lap stint in Session Two, clocking a best lap time of 1min59sec451 which put him 0.021 secs ahead of team-mate Francesco Pizzi, thus confirming the good state of shape of the Brownsburg, IN-based racing team. Zendeli’s performance marked a substantial improvement over the first session, where he had not felt at ease with his #10 car following a steering alignment issue, ending up 11th best. “I did not have a single fast lap in the first session, but everything came around in the second one and the car was real good. That’s how it works”, said Zendeli.

A total of 20 drivers from different nations took part in the session around the 3.74 mile (6 Km), 17-turn Sebring International Raceway road course. The Florida track had hosted Lirim’s maiden test in the challenging American series, which will open next weekend with a double-header at St.Petersburg, acting as a support event to the first event of the Indycar 2023 season. This way, Monaco Increase Management will have two drivers at the same track with both Alex Palou and Lirim Zendeli determined to give their best!
