Monaco Increase Management and Campos Racing today are announcing that MIM driver David Vidales will drive in the 2022 FIA Formula Three Championship with the Spanish outfit. David, who will turn 20 next May, 1st, had his first taste of a single-seater racing car when MIM’s founder and CEO Salvatore Gandolfo, together with Adrian Campos, sr – who sadly passed away last year – gave him a test with a F3 car on the Ricardo Tormo circuit near Valencia. Today, the team is run by Adrian’s son Adri. Monaco Increase has been putting every effort in preparing Vidales for the new challenge, after two seasons in the Alpine Formula Regional Euroseries in which David brought home two victories and as many poles.
David commented: “It’s an honour for me to become part of the team founded by the late Adrian Campos, the man who, together with my manager Salvatore Gandolfo, helped me in my first steps in single-seater driving. Also, I am very proud to join a Spanish team and I can’t wait to start working with them to aim for wins in the 2022 FIA Formula 3 series!”
