WEHRLEIN CLAIMS STRONG MIAMI PODIUM AFTER IMPRESSIVE COMEBACK DRIVE

Jan 31, 2026

MIM-contracted Pascal Wehrlein produced an impressive comeback drive to secure third place at the Miami E-Prix, Round 3 of the FIA Formula E World Championship.

Lining up 11th on the grid for the race around the streets of Miami, the German driver faced particularly demanding conditions, with a damp track and constantly changing grip levels challenging the entire field. Staying out of trouble and making smart use of strategy and ATTACK MODE, Wehrlein steadily worked his way forward as the race unfolded.

As the race entered its decisive phase, Wehrlein showed strong pace and consistency to move into podium contention, ultimately crossing the line in third place behind race winner Mitch Evans and Porsche teammate Nico Müller. The result marked a valuable haul of points for the reigning champion and further underlined the competitiveness of the Porsche package in difficult conditions.

With this strong Miami result, Wehrlein continues to build momentum early in the season as the Formula E calendar now heads to the next round in Jeddah.
