Imola, March 18 – Monaco Increase Management driver David Vidales concluded a two-day collective testing session for Formula Regional European by Alpine at Imola, on the circuit dedicated to the memory of Enzo and Dino Ferrari, which saw his winning debut as a car driver last year in June.
Vidales shared the Prema Powerteam garage with Ferrari Driver Academy driver Dino Beganovic and Estonia’s Paul Aron. The test was very productive for all drivers and David never chased lap times, rather focusing on race simulation, long runs and some pit stop and practice start. Since the number of available tires is limited by regulation this year, the Team opted for saving some fresh rubber for the next testing round at Barcelona next week. The season is very likely to start in April at Imola, in the same days of the F1 Grand Prix, despite being previously slated for Spa in Belgium.
