Monaco Increase Management CEO Salvatore Gandolfo is saddened to hear about the death of the former Formula 3000 and Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 racing driver Luca Persiani in a tragic accident on Monday 19 August at Scanno, in the province of L’Aquila.
The 40-year-old from Albano Laziale lost his life during an off-road excursion, when his Jeep precipitated into a ravine. The following day Persiani was due to leave for the United States, where he worked.
Gandi was particularly attached to Luca Persiani, who was the first racing driver to come under his management in the 2002-2005 period and as well as this, he always thought of him as a dear friend and a great person.
Just a few months back, they met up at the start of April during the Fanatec GT World Challenge opening round at the Paul Ricard Circuit in France, where they were able to reminisce about their past experiences together.
Monaco Increase Management, Salvatore Gandolfo and his family wish to send their sincerest condolences to the family of Luca Persiani.
